Joint Venture Partnerships

A joint venture is basically two different companies or people working on a project together for the benefit of each other. It is one of the easiest, least expensive and most profitable ways to exponentially increase online sales.

Many people think that you have to be a multi-million dollar online marketing guru to participate in a joint venture but this is not true. There are many different types of JV partners available all over the web. Some are full-time, major sales gurus while others are just starting out in the marketing industry.


How To Find Joint Venture Partners

There are several effective ways that you can go about doing this. Here are some of the most commonly used ones.


Paypal - Most people only recognize Paypal as a payment processor. However, it can also be used as a tool to find joint venture partners. Here is how it works. Log in to your account. Once you are logged in, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click on the link that says “shops.” Once the screen opens up, simply type in keywords related to your niche. You will get a list of shops that accept paypal in your niche. You will also be able to see how active they are in getting sales. Visit websites that you are think might make good partners and then contact them about your JV.

 

Search Engines - The search engines can be a big help. In a matter of a few minutes you can create a list of 10-20 potential JV partners. Simply type in a relevant keyword for your niche in one of the search engines and write down the web addresses and contact information on the first 10-20 websites.  For example, if you are selling a product on dog diets, you may want to look under the term “dog training.” Why dog training? People in this niche will not be your direct competitors. While there may be times that you work with the competition, in most cases you will not.  Dog training would be a complimentary market. Persons interested in dog training will likely also want to make sure that their dogs follow a healthy diet. You are more likely to get a partner to work with you if they do not feel like you are the competition. However, if they believe that they can make some extra money with you, without losing their customer base to you, they are likely to agree to your proposal. Contact them through their “contact form” or an email address given at their site. If there is none listed to a WHOIS search using their domain name. You will find a phone number. If you are really interested in working with them, give them a call and pitch your JV idea.

 

People You Have Done Business With In The Past - People that you have done business with in the past can be great joint venture partners. Because of your past experience with them, you have some idea about their work ethic, skill level, professionalism and trustworthiness.

 

Internet Marketing Forums - Internet marketing forums are another really good place to pick up joint venture partners. You can easily check out their reputations in most internet marketing forums. Also, if you spend a good amount of time at these forums, you get some idea of which people really have something to contribute and who already has a responsive list and good reputation.
